Reagan's First Kiddie Ride &
Maddy's First Ferris Wheel Ride
We went to Tennessee this past weekend because Maddy had been hounding us about going to Dollywood. So we took the girls and had great weather and a great time. Reagan rode her first kiddie ride and LOVED it. She rode the piggy ride (which definitey suits her since she has decided just recently to eat like a pig.), ducks and carousel with me and Maddy. And speaking of firsts, Maddy rode the Ferris Wheel with Chris for the first time. She was being really brave until they got to the top and Chris leaned over causing the seat to also lean forward. From that particular point on that girl wouldn't have anything to do with waving. And while we were there, Dollywood had a very small parade which included a quick ride by from a pink and sequined clad Dolly Parton (which Chris thoroughly enjoyed).
After leaving Dollywood, we attempted to play putt-putt with a 1 year old and a 4 year old. We will not be doing that again for awhile. It was total chaos!!! Reagan kept grabbing everyone's ball and putting them in the hole and Maddy would just strategically move hers to the spot of her choice. Chris didn't handle the rule breaking very well.
We made it up to him, though. After leaving the putt-putt course, we went by Bass Pro Shops and did a little shopping. We stayed there until closing at which time Maddy concluded she wanted to live there. Hmmmm... she is definitely her Daddy's child.
